On July 26, 2026, a fire damaged three dormitories at Bigwa Sisters Secondary School in Morogoro, destroying mattresses, uniforms, textbooks, and learning materials belonging to 118 Form Five and Six students. No lives were lost, but these girls now need urgent support to replace what they lost so their studies are not interrupted ahead of national examinations.
